Hey everyone, just thought I’d do a quick blog post to let ya’ll know about our next show, which is on thursday at the Ben Sherman store on Camden Walk. It’s the first time they’ve done it aaand it’s acoustic! (oooh!), so yeah, if you wanna be one of the first people to hear our stuff played in a new way (bar my housemate the other day, he had no choice as we were practicing in my living room), then come check it out.
Thanks to all of you lovely people who came to a packed and snowy 93 feet east!
It was a really good gig…short and snappy, and packed full of bands, from a peculiar megamorphic mutation that was the Bangers & Mash and Call The Landlord promotional team. Bang up job guys!
With snow building up outside, and me getting drunk inside if it weren’t nearing the middle of February, I would have definitely said that there was that ‘Christmas feeling in the air’!
But I saw this sign on a train the other day, a bit strange, but a bit like us at the moment, as since our last post, we have had some new mix’s of tracks (soon to be available) and are gonna be filming the video for 1980’s….boooyah.
On another note, I have been listening to this classic album the other day…
If I may be so bold as to critique David Bowie….I would say, great music dude….but seriously why did you pick such a bad front cover!… your a style icon!…I mean COME ON, you look like a REALLY shit boxer…… tut tut.
Hello all and welcome to the brand-spanking-new JF Blog! Hopefully if you’ve been visiting the old one you should have been whisked away to our new site, complete with music and videos and stuff! So yeah, from now on all of our Jenners Field news and general adventures will be documented on here, exciting eh?
As I write, Laurie’s just laying down some vocals for some brand new recordings and Jed and Nilo are tucking into some sandwiches which are roughly the size of their own heads.. slackers. I’ll be sure to get the recordings up on here as soon as they’re mixed, we’re all super excited about the way they’re sounding, we’ve spent all morning listening to Nilo laying down about 6,000 guitar tracks on Brave
Managed to get a cheeky snap during one of the final takes
We’d like to give a big thankyou to Mr Liam Nolan for his expertise at the controls, whata guy.
Anywhoo! We have a gig this weekend, which we’re hoping to see you all at (addressed to the entire population of the internet). It’s at 93 feet east on brick lane, and it’s a welcome return of our good friends at Call the Landlord, apparently Vs Bangers and Mash, so I’m expecting some sort of fight to the death involving gravy.
